Dear Queer,

I have been talking to this girl for about 2 weeks. We met in person for the first time on Friday. I think the meeting went pretty well, but I can be bashful at first. We ate lunch and talked a bit.

Since we met, she’s been on vacation, so we’ve had lots of time to text. It’s pretty friendly, with some light flirting. After our lunch, she’s not been as talkative. I don’t know if she didn’t feel a vibe meeting in person or if it’s just her schedule getting back to work and whatnot.

Granted, we just met for the first time in person yesterday, I’d like to see how she is the next few days. But at the same time, I don’t want to jump to conclusions and keep trying to communicate with someone who isn’t interested.

So, do I keep texting her for the next couple of days and see how it goes, or do I ask her now if she’s still interested?
