As a form of resistance, buy me coffee here. Thank you for supporting queer women’s voices in a climate trying to silence us.

Dear Queer,

I can’t believe I am writing you under these circumstances. Donald Trump took office and no matter which way I turn, someone in my life is flipping out. My best friend’s husband (who wasn’t born in the US) is terrified of ICE raids. The gay parents I know are filing to adopt their own children. A friend from college lost her right to medical care. I am a federal employee, and my co-workers and I are showing up to work every day not knowing if we will be employed by the end of the week. This is crazy making. Do I scream or do I cry? Please help. I don’t know what to do.

First, let me say I hear your deep concern for your friends, both near and far, and I share your frustration and confusion. While you may have asked…
