Thank you for this article Annie. In the section about disordered eating, you mention eating food rapidly. I've never seen that attribute discussed before in relevance to disordered eating. I had a housemate years ago who suffered severe trauma. At meals she'd literally inhale her food. I've never witnessed it as extreme as I did with her. Can you please say more about this particular coping mechinism and how it would be best to support someone showing this sign? Thanks much!
