THANK YOU for writing this! I am so grateful and inspired by others out there doing their part to shatter the stigma of silence around rape culture. I write an advice column (Dear Queer~ Gayly Giving Advice Straight from the Heart) and a couple of months ago, I got a question from a gentleman in the UK (I'm in America) asking what he can do to help end rape culture. He's also a writer and has a gorgeous piece about how he almost became a predator himself. I'll link my column to his response here, which will have the link to his story too. Definitely worth the read if you want to feel inspired by others out there trying to shine light on these difficult discussions. Thank you again for doing your part. I appreciate how much bravery this takes. Great job role modeling for your kids and grandkids having higher awareness. https://candra-anaya.medium.com/dearqueer-how-can-men-help-e4b6b3bb9be5

I'll check out both articles! Thank you for sharing them. It looks like I'm in good company.
The conversations absolutely need to be had and the onus placed squarely back on the rapist. I'm tired of the victim blaming culture.
Thank you for reading and commenting!
